Hi there! I have over 22 years of nursing experience varying from Emergency-Trauma, Obstetrics, and Infection Prevention and Epidemiology. I graduated from New Mexico State University in 2001 with my Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) and moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to begin my nursing career. In 2010, I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) with my Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) and completed my Masters Degree in Nursing (MSN) and NP education at UTA in 2023. I hold my advanced practice nursing board certification in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and my board certification in Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC) through the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC). I consider it a privilege and absolute joy to provide holistic, compassionate care to our patients.
I am happily married to my husband, Brian and we have three children, Jacob, Ainsley, and London. When away from the bedside, you can find me lounging by the pool, traveling, or hunting with my family during deer season. However, most days you will find me sitting on the sidelines of a soccer field, cheering on our youngest daughter, who plays goalkeeper both competitively and at her high school.
